Twenty two -

Love fiercely, and don't forget to stop pictures along the way -
This remained in the Instagram bio of one of my favourite women, Chiara Ferragni, for years and it stayed with me. Now this may not be a centuries old quote from a classic novel but it is something to live by and something I think about each and every day. It's something that gets me going, and that is what 2022 is all about - living for yourself.

2021 was the year of no expectations, 2022 is the year of no regrets. It's time to start living once more. It's time to live for the things that get you going, and the things that make you happy, but - with no pressure.

As we speak right now its the Cancer moon and venus and mercury retrograde are about to clash. We all know what a retrograde means right? Uncertainty, emotion and a rollercoaster but lets make it over this hurdle because as February approaches we will have already forgotten about the hump.

This year is the time to grind, work harder than you ever have before.

This year is the time to love, love greater than you ever have before.

This year is the time to live, to live more fiercely than you can ever imagine.

Take that leap, dare to dream and live beyond your wildest expectations. We have come from a past of the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Your mental mindset defines how you live your life so make it for the better.

It isn't always easy being positive and you don't always need to be. Just don't give up.

Fight for what you want more than anything.
Fight for yourself.
and live for you.

Always here angels -
Welcome to 2022

A New Era

SHE's BACK.
Hi there my darlings and welcome to a new era.
Are you ready for the ride?
September 1st will forever be my favourite day of the year.
It signifies new beginnings and an evolved you, regardless of your situation.
It's your chance to reevaluate, get back in your grind after a hot Summer and turn back into the power player we all know you are.

The truth is I fell out of love with blogging,
Social media turned toxic,
and I just could not force myself to write about something I was no longer passionate about.
So, what changed?

Me.

I take time out.
I find headspace.
I have a purpose.
I focus on the energy that makes me happy.

Ooohlalaa its fashion does not dwell on the past.
Lets get over it and talk about our future.

This online space was created to make you feel good.
To talk about the things we love.
The things that get us going,
and of course with a touch of sass along the way.
The day that stops, the day I stop.

So where am I?

I am starting a new job,
I can't wait for fashion month,
I turn TWENTY SIX in a matter of days
and I am still working on chilling the f out.

It's September 1st baby and
the best is yet come.

Wander in the Dominican Republic | beauty and cause

The past few weeks has seen so much devastation brought upon our world. The natural disasters that have entailed hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Jose and Maria alongside the tragedy of earthquake in Mexico has left families without loved ones and without a home. I visited the Dominican Republic, a Caribbean island, a little over a month ago and was faced with such timeless beauty and landscape never sparing a thought that these islands, and many others would soon face tragedy.
For these people to suffer such heartbreak is unimaginable. I could have continued my blog posts on my trip to the Dominican but this would not have been right. Instead I would like to share with you some of my personal, unedited photos of the Puerto Plata, a place I will remain eternally grateful to have visited.
Please say a prayer,
please spare a thought for so many in need of help at this moment in time.

You can donate to help those in desperate need of help here. No donation is too big or small.
Here are just some of the ways.

Au revoir 2016, Hello 2017

2016,  the year when the highs were at their highest and the lows left us at breaking point.

This was the year we prayed Hillary would change history for women.
She undoubtedly did, but she didn't win the Presidential election.

This was the year we fought hard to stay in the European Union,
campaigning for months on end, but we left.

This was the year that we continuously wished peace upon the world,
but countless acts of terrorism and warzones such as Aleppo made peace a dream once more.

This was the year where we lost so many notable figures.

In a world full of tragedy it is difficult to find hope, but we do. We pick ourselves up again and continue with our lives and fight for the better. This was 2016... but it was not all bad.

2016 was also the year that world nations thrived at the Rio Olympics, the year that saw suicide rates drop dramatically. One that saw Leo win that Oscar, Tim Peake (our modern day space inspiration) return to earth. One that saw Obama visit Hiroshima and Britain have a woman at the forefront of it's political power once again. Whilst these are only a few to name this is proof that not everything in 2016 was all that bad.

I encountered a few of my own personal tragedies that changed this year, but i'm still killing it so should you.

We could dwell on the heartbreak 2016 has caused us but let's not.

The strive for success, health, happiness and hope got us through this year,
let's make sure it's gets us through the next.

Happy New Year my darlings,
it's time to slay.
2017 were coming for you.

Back to the city

It wasn't all too long ago that I found myself immersed in city blues.
I longed for a break away from the dangerous reality that the city brings to you all year round and lusted after the island.

To say I have thoroughly enjoyed my fling with Summer this year is an understatement. I visited the other side of the globe, surrounded myself with cultures unlike my own, wanderlusted after dream destinations and met some incredible people ...
but now i'm back.

Remember the thing about September? Well it's time to grind, seek your inspiration and slay.
When the going gets tough, suck it up.
When life gets you down, shimmy your way back up.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
The only shade you should be concerned about is the colour of your next Winter coat.

The city feels exciting and new once more. Whether your eyes are fixated on the runway, you're shopping for your new AW16 wardrobe, you take on a huge task in the workplace or meet a new array of people. It's time to kill it darlings, don't let anyone mess with your vibes.
After all we are all about the sassy city frolicking.

The Perfect shoes for every occasion

7 occasions, 7 of the most perfect footwear pieces.
We may struggle with the right outfit, how to wear our hair,  or are you too over dressed? One thing is for sure. If your feet are looking fabulous, you are looking fabulous.

1. Date Night- Sassy slingbacks
The perfect heel with the right amount of skin on show. Seductive but subtle.
Manolo Blahnik, £412

2. Cocktails- Wedges
Eye Catching meets comfortable. Dressy enough for cocktails alongside a cute outfit but not dramatically over the top.

Dune, £72

3. Cinema- Slipper shoes
Relax and look ridiculously cute at the same time. These lovely shoes are one of the hottest trends about at the moment, even substituting heels.
Topshop, £22

4. Fashion show- Pointed courts
Points and smaller heels are everywhere this season!! You can get these fabulous shoes in a variety of colours with white being the most popular at the moment (Victoria Beckham is just one of our favourite women who has been seen wearing white points!) . These shoes are key to making your outfit look sophisticated and chic.

River Island, £45

5. Clubbing- bold, high and out of this world.
This is where height really comes into play with an added element of fun. Your highest heels are perfect for an occasion like this as long as you can walk in them! Experiment with colour and be daring. Do not necessarily opt for courts have something with an added design or detail to dance the night away.
Louboutin, £545

6. Concert- Edgy boots
For sure you can pull of the whole 'rocker' look with jeans and a leather jacket but boots are the statement outfit piece. People at concerts make minimal effort however your footwear should be equally as gorgeous as any other occasion.

Carvela, £150

7. Shopping- shoes for a mission!
Our favourite past time yet one of the most frustrating activities ever! Flats are essential for shopping especially in the crazy sales (I forever have people standing on my feet)!  There are some really pretty ballet pumps around and lots of variations with colour and design.

                   Miss Selfridge, £28

Fabulous feet mean a fabulous you darlings!
