Call it a classic

We all know I adore all things bold, bright and experimental when it comes to fashion stakes but this wedding season I sidelined and reached for the complete opposite. Unintentionally channelling Audrey Hepburn, Givenchy vibes in Breakfast at Tiffanys, I opted for a black peplum embellished dress.

Yes, black- one colour palette I never appear to reach for.

The added embellishment kept this ensemble far from boring and settled at the perfect length, just above my knee. Accessorising was minimal as very little assistance was needed to compliment this outfit that I paired with a pink clutch and stilettos during the day and black in the evening. This classic look is one of my favourites.

Darlings, wedding season is here and it's already to die for.

Over the past decade weddings have turned from your traditional white wedding into something a little more meaningful and inevitably experimental.

So whether you are walking down an aisle covered in florals, eloping to Vegas or getting married at your local city hall the opportunities are endless and ultimately chic.

Perhaps you are shopping the new Topshop bridal collection? Or maybe inspired by Olivia Palermo's lace shorts and blue Manolo's? Or maybe you spend your days browsing Pinterest for every inch of inspiration? Weddings are all about you, so it's vital you make it everything that you dream of whether that's expressing your wanderlust desires or making history in a place you call home.

I seek inspiration in every surrounding and find myself torn with my favourites as the next is always so different from the last.

The details are down to you and your wedding day is your chance to place your mark on this world and inject your personality into a setting that you fabricate based on everything that you love in your life.

I recently attended a dream Spring wedding. Think florals, pastels and all your Pinterest desires merged into one. Not only did the Bride & Groom, Rebecca and James look flawless but the time and effort placed into making their wedding their very own was unprecedented. The attention to detail was like no other. From getting married in an ancient church to celebrating in a 17th Century manor house, these settings did not fall short of character and spoke for themselves. A navy and pastel green colour combination, paired with a gorgeous array of the finest spring florals provoked nothing but effortless Spring vibes. This was apparent in every inch of detail, from the table settings to the personalised plaques found throughout each destination, epitomising perfection.

I am forever talking about experimentation, and overstepping the boundaries so when it comes to your wedding day why wouldn't you do just that?

It's time to inspire, influence and succeed, a mantra we live by.

So the next time you dream of running away to Santorini, running to the registry the next day or inviting those hundreds of guests to your castle,

make sure you do it.

Make your thoughts a reality.

An Irish wedding wardobe

Darlings, you know my love for weddings and this will soon be shown in the return of Wedding Wednesday this coming week.

Since fashion month and awards season is over it was time to give myself a little break break from blogging. During this duration I spent my weekend celebrating an Irish wedding. Two of my favourites, Olivea and James married in the most amazing ceremony I have ever witnessed. Not only was she the sassiest bride I have ever met but she was head to toe beautiful and the entire wedding was the epitome of perfection.

She is the first of us hunnies to get married so as you can imagine between the wedding and partying with the Irish all weekend, it was a roller coaster of emotions. They literally make the most perfect couple it's indescribable.

Having wedding celebrations all day every day for the past three days required a killer and well prepared wardrobe. Being March I decided it was time to fully embrace SS15 through the use of colour and style. Take a look at what I wore this weekend.

How amazing does the bride look?! or even so how amazing do every single one of these hunnies look? I can't believe she is now married and couldn't be happier for her.

Summer weddings, what to wear?

If you are like me you will love summer weddings so the perfect outfit is an absolute necessity. Summer is such a fabulous season where you can play around with colours, florals and pastels and accessorise with the perfect shoes and hats. It can sometimes be a struggle to find that one perfect outfit querying is it too bright? is it appropriate? I have put together some looks that I think are perfect for this seasons weddings, simply with a hint of glamour. These are a mixture of designer and high street pieces but remember it is better to invest in something thats worth it (and rewearable) than something that looks hideous on and is thrown out or tucked up in the closet for months after! Many high street stores do similar designs to designers so do not disregard if you cannot afford, you'll find a substitute by all means!
