Happy Halloween

All Hallow's Eve. The one day of the year it's socially acceptable to play dress up. The only question is, who do you want to be? There are questions to make me feel like boys again. Or turn little girls into queens.
-Gossip Girl

Playing dress up for your man on Halloween is one thing. You do it any other night you end up on an afternoon talk show.
-Pretty Little Liars

In the real world, Halloween is when kids dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In girl world, Halloween is the one day of the year when a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girls can say anything else about it.
-Mean Girls

The hottest Autumn/Winter 2013 colours

We are well into Autumn, and Winter is on it's way. Now is the opportunity to embrace this season's hottest colours straight off the catwalk. You will find these colours in all the stores both high street and high end so they are easily accessible. Wearing these colours not only make you look great but also show that you keep on top of the latest trends,
all eyes are on you
Make sure you take these colours into consideration when you choose your key season pieces such as your winter coat or boots. The great thing about this season is there are 6 key colours so if you are unsure or do not like a particular one there are other options. The colours are statement making so be careful not to use too much of the same colour in one ensemble as it may become a little too overpowering. I'm here to give you a little inspiration for when you shop you're A/W13 wardrobe and show where these colours could potentially fit in.
Enjoy and embrace darlings ...

Selfridges has released one fabulous creation ...

Go chic this halloween ...

The date is approaching. On the 31st October it's time to pull out the costumes and 'celebrate' All Hallows Eve. Who said Halloween cannot be fashionable? Sure you have your typical gory, traditional costumes or the other alternative seductive and sexy, but why do you have to choose either of those? Halloween is your chance to show that you are different and is the perfect opportunity for experimentation. Be showstopping as you turn up to that party and give the Pretty Little Liars a little competition.
I have pulled out a few halloween ideas that I hope will inspire you. The main pieces are all high street brands with some of the necessary accessories coming from actual fancy dress stores. Of course with some pieces I have chosen stores I wouldn't necessarily shop in, however it's all in aid of costume designing!
Enjoy and send me your halloween costumes which will potentially be featured on
 Ooohlalaa-it's fashion
