Doggy confectionary

Here is Rosie my gorgeous 8 year old Weimaraner eating a 'doggy ice cream' from the dog confectionary stall at the market. Markets are definitely not my kind of thing but this stall is too cute to resist.

What's in my bag?

I think its every girls duty to do a 'what's in my bag?' post, exposing what we consider our absolute essentials.
Here's mine ...
My bag is from River Island.
What's inside?
Ted Baker purse- obviously essential
Carex hand sanitiser- you don't know where you will be and who you will touch, hello germs
Elle umbrella- with English weather do I need to explain?
Tangle Teezer- Every girls MUST HAVE
Victoria's Secret student planner and pen- keeping organised, a life saver
Compact- makeup check!
Tissues- you never know when you'll need them
Paracetamol- likewise with tissues, nothing worse than feeling horrible
Vaseline- everyone should carry one, no explanation needed
Chewing gum- perfect teeth and fresh breath
A fresh Mac Creme cup lipstick- my favourite lipstick, it goes with every outfit (I go through so many of this shade that I replace them on a regular basis). I usually carry the lipstick that i'll be wearing that day too.
Benefit mini perfume- to smell heavenly at all times
Too faced blusher and mirror- touch up!
Mac brush 168SE- also touch up!
Benefit 'it's real' mascara- so you can flutter your eyelashes as always
Keys- route to your life ...
Earphones- I use these for my Ipad (not pictured on here)

Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball

Every girls dream, Tiffany ...
The Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball took place in New York last night drawing in some glamourous ladies with some fabulous shades of blue! Not only did we see some amazing gowns these ladies were lucky enough to be wearing Tiffany jewellery to sparkle their way through the night.

My favourite look of the night
Kate Hudson wears a  Tiffany blue, Reem Acra gown which allows her to flaunt her flawless figure. Strapless and with a slit up the side to show off her amazing pins, this gown is stunning. Her flowing, blonde curls add sophistication to this simple but phenomenal ensemble.

Michelle Williams, wearing Katie Ermilio and Gywneth Paltrow wearing Ralph Lauren both choose a deep blue satin.
I love the experimentation with neckline and sleeves. Simple hairstyles are enough to gather the true impact of these gowns. Michelle wore Tiffany cluster earrings worth £150,000 whereas Gwyneth wears Tiffany legacy earrings and a  black opal montana sapphire diamond broach worth £110,000.

Jessica Biel also wears a deep blue however with a slight pattern. The fitted waisted line and halter neck contributes towards this gowns perfection along with loose curls. This creation is by the wonderful Elie Saab.

High society fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker wears a Vicky Tiel vintage creation. SJP has worn this shade in the past and not many would able to make this metallic greeny look this good.

Our Gatsby girl Carey Mulligan also stays away from blue with this Victoria Beckham suit. Powerdressing to a tee. Carey brings complelte feminity to this masculine suit and I love the open sleeves and sleek satin neckline.
She also wears Tiffany drop earrings
worth £55,000.

Poppy Delevingne wears this on tend Dolce and Gabbana creation. Dolce and Gabbana certainly impressed me on the catwalk with their vivid designs which are worn perfectly by Poppy especially with gold sandals. Once again we see gorgeous blonde locks that perfect the outfit. Evidently blonde and Tiffany blue are a perfect match.

E-petition Safety of the A18

Please take a few minutes of your time to sign this e-petition http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/48888

safety of A18

Responsible department: Department for Transport
on the 12th April 5 people from the same family were killed on a notorious stretch of the A18 near Laceby Manor Golf Club in Grimsby.
The Grimsby stretch of the A18 featured in a BBC television programme, Britain's Most Dangerous Roads, in 2011, which claimed it was 25 times more dangerous than the average British motorway with 20 crashes in the previous three years.
It was also found to be the UK's highest-risk stretch of road for car drivers in a nationwide survey by the Road Safety Foundation in 2010.
I, we, the undersigned, would like the government to review road safety in that area and consult with local people on what measures could be taken to ensure further tragedies such as this do not occur again.

Five members of the Cockburn family were tragically killed last Friday in this horrific accident. Thinking of their family and friends, all members of the community in Chester-le-street were completely devastated.

Your signature could pave the way for change.

'I wear my Sunday best seven days a week’- Margaret Thatcher

Ultimate power dresser, iconic figure, powerful woman. An inspiration.
The Iron Lady

In 2012 seven of Margaret Thatcher's most memorable outfits were put up for auction. Here are some of her most notable outfits ...

Dark blue: worn to the unveiling of the bronze statue of herself at the House of Commons.

Coral metallic: Occasion wear, double breasted coat.

Spring green: worn on a panorama program in 1972 talking about women in politics

Grey: a great supporter of British designers.

Yellow (one of my favourites): making suring women stood out.

Duck Egg: worn on her acceptance as leader of the Conservative party.

Why does the fashion industry remember such a woman?

The pearls

The gloves and handbag.
 The fabulous pussy bow blouses
The Hair

A true influence to both the fashion world and a world of women.

Margaret Thatcher, The Iron lady- a lady we should remember.

The Iron Lady
Taking a moment to reflect on the life of Margaret Thatcher who sadly passed away this morning. First female Prime Minister and fabulous power dresser, she truly was a dominant women. She caused a lot of controversy during her time as leader and I do not necessarily agree with many of her actions as it affected my family and many others in past years which gives reason to why many will remember her in disgust. I think this is wrong to do so, but this is my opinion. She paved the way to make Britain powerful and she should be remembered for her achievements rather than what many would considered her mistakes. She is an iconic, dominant, powerful figure that I greatly respected and found inspiring. She shaped Britain and played a major role in the fashion industry becoming a fashion icon. Thoughts go out to her family and loved ones.
