Summer ball looks

So girls it is nearly time for the summer balls! Unfortunately I do not have one this year which is upsetting because there are so many great outfits about. Remember it is your time to glam up and dazzle, no one can say you are overdressed at a ball
Look fabulous and feel fabulous.
Even those people who admit they hate dressing up always make the effort, just you watch! Whether it is your prom or leavers ball, or just a summer ball in general you have to carefully think about what to wear. Instead of going for your typical prom like meringue dresses (we've all been there, including me) experiment with a different type of look. Your look should show off your personality and you should feel comfortable in yourself. Every year designs and the latest trends change, you do not have to be wearing pastels and florals to be summery if you are keeping up with the latest trends. I have to put together a few very different looks that I hope you enjoy. The 'Prom Queen' dress was my dress from last year's summer ball although the colour available at the time was light pink and I loved everything about it.
If I had to choose my look it would most likely be 'seduction' I love the black and deep reds although 'powerful' is definitely my type of style also. However, I am open to experimentation and everything I have chosen to add to my collection of looks I would wear.
Summer balls are not always about the dresses, your hair and accessories have to be equally perfect so I have added a few hairspirations and necessities I think will fit well with the outfits. Remember you can always substitute and find similar patterns, do not be under the impression that designer ensembles are the only way to look fabulous. I love hearing what type of look you would choose so please let me know!

What type of summer ball look are you going for?

Effortless
